Carmen is part of a collection created by doll artist Anna Haritanova inspired by Barcelona, where each character embodies the spirit of a neighbourhood.

Carmen hails from the vibrant neighborhood of Barceloneta, where the scent of the sea fills the air and the rhythm of waves is a constant lullaby. With her shimmering golden hair, evoking the rare gloomy days she adores, she captures the essence of the Mediterranean.

She’s often seen strolling along the beach, her feet caressed by the gentle waves, lost in the beauty of the horizon. Carmen’s love for the sea is so profound that a local musician, enchanted by her aura, composed a nautical melody just for her. This tune, now known as «Carmen of Barceloneta,» echoes throughout neighbourhood, capturing the essence of the sea and the heart of a girl who calls it home.
