SYNOPSIS
The second most populous Catalan city, and a great unknown. L’Hospitalet has grown divided by train tracks and shaped by waves of immigration that have drawn a diverse, complex reality. The decline of its old factories, paired with rising costs in Barcelona, has made the city increasingly attractive to artists and creators. As a new cultural district emerges and the old train tracks are buried underground, one question remains: will this become an oasis for culture, or just the next wave of gentrification?
