Somoure ii

Somoure is an artistic research project that explores assistive robotics from a critical and experimental perspective. Mónica Rikić has been developing it since October 2023 in collaboration with the Institut de Robòtica i Informàtica Industrial (IRI CSIC-UPC) in Barcelona. Rather than viewing care robots as a technological problem to be solved, the project frames them as an assemblage of interconnections shaping our expectations of future societies.

This video is part of the documentation of the artistic research process of Somoure, a project by Mónica Rikić, developed in collaboration with IRI (CSIC-UPC) and co-commissioned by Hacte, with the support of IRI (CSIC-UPC) and the S+T+ARTS programme of the European Union.
